Exclusive Collectors’ Previews

Why are you here? I have invited you to this site as part of an exclusive group of collectors to preview some of the works I might be minting. Shall you be interested in acquiring any of the works, you can get in tough with me directly to negotiate the acquisition.

Who am I? I was born in Puerto Rico in 1980 and lived on the island until my 21st birthday. My first artistic pursuit was in the field of theater. I performed mime theatre since I was 16 years old. When I turned 21, I moved to Paris, France where I was accepted to study under the tutelage of Marcel Marceau.

Why photography? A series of injuries prevented my dream to continue pursuing physical theatre. Yet, I was not going to allow that to halt my passion for storytelling. In photography, I discovered a new way of storytelling, where similar to mime, I could rely on the universal language of non-verbal communication.

As a photographer, my works have gained international recognition with several of my series going viral, most notably my series of dancers in the streets of Cuba. I have also had the honor to become an ambassador to some of the most important photography brands such as Adobe Lightroom, Fujifilm, and Leica.

What do I photograph? My artistic work currently covers two main pursuits, with a similar root and aesthetic. Documentary/Street Photography as well as Urban Environmental Dance Photography.

Why  Street Photography? I have an inherent passion for storytelling. What better stories to tell than the ones that happen every around us, yet so many seem to miss? Photographing these candid moments allows me to provide viewers with a unique and immersive experience of human nature. Powerful narratives emerge from the photographs leading the viewers to create their own fiction.

Why Dance? Even tho I’m not able to perform anymore, my performance art background is still a big part of my artistic heritage. Photographing dancers in the streets of cities around the world has allowed me to perform vicariously thru the dancers I direct. At the same time, I am able to transport the viewers into a world of “what could be”.  A new reality where the norms of gravity and the boundaries of the quotidian can be shattered.

Where can you find my previous NFT works? Most of my previous works have been minted on Foundation, including my sold-out collection “City”.
